Senior Prom 2009

YEAA!!! Its finally prom night! It was actually quite a relaxing day. Being that this was the fourth dance she has gone to I think we have the routine down!

The day started off over at Uncle Larry & Tiffany's house. Every dance Steph has gone to Tiffany gives her a manicure & pedicure. It was really nice out so we sat out on their deck enjoying the weather & chatting.

Then it was off to see Katie, Stephs hair girl. She did a fabulous job on her hair!

Then back home for the finishing touches...make-up then get dressed!!

Rick called during the process & Steph spent a few minutes chatting with her Papa.

Steph's Senior Year is Winding Down...

Tonight was the last band banquet. Tomorrow is her last day at school, Saturday is prom then Sunday will be her big ensemble concert, which promises to be a great concert. I'm having mixed feelings as my little girl is all of a sudden becoming a woman. Where did time slip away to. I can still see her as a preschooler running around with her brother in the backyard. We are very proud of all she has accomplished is these last four years and I'm amazed at how much she has grown into who she is going to be-that's one marvelous kid!

This was at the banquet tonight with the necklace they gave to all the seniors-it has cute little grad hats on it.

What a crazy girl! For the last couple of days whenever I was away she has left me 'gifts' at my bedroom door, placed exactly in the middle of the doorway...little pieces of trash from the upstairs bathroom! (The are not allowed upstairs without permission but apparently they ignore this when we are not home-just like kids) The first day it was just the mascara packaging...today it was this...very neatly lined up...

Such a silly dog! Can't help but love her!

Stephs Last School Concert...

I meant to post this last week. An era has come tpo an end...school band. They had their last concert, which was just a short three songs, one of which was Anchors Aweigh...here is a short 20 second clip...of course I missed the flute part :( -it was cool!
