Justin & Brianna's wedding...

As if one wedding in the family wasnt enough for a week, our son Justin & his finacee decided a week after Apryl got married that they would do the same!! It was a nice little ceremony at the beach in Norfolk, where we use to live. Her Mom, siblings and a cousin along with a few friends were there, as were Justins godfather, Larry and his wife, Tiffany.

What we've done so far this weekend..

Well besides sleeping in..hehe...last night I took the girl to get a haircut! Turned out cute! Then she asked for me to do highlights. Now let me tell you-the last time we attempted this...she ended up platinum blond!! What a trusting soul...well it turned out BEAUTIFUL!! This Mom just LOVES when her somewhat tomboy daughter wants to girl it up!!! She is such a beauty!!

I had the pleasure of giving Apryl her 'something blue' so I found stationary in the blue of her wedding colors with the chocolate brown color in a band around it and wrote her a letter reflecting on all of our lives together. I love that girl!

BIG NEWS!

I know Ive not been on here a while..ok almost a YEAR!!! Crazy how fast time flies!!

Well since our nieces visit here last summer we have had a lot of activity around here so I will try & slowly catch up-I will start with the big stuff-last October my older daughter got married. When she was born I had placed her for adoption and we have had an open adoption her whole life! It was a beautiful experience to be a part of her big day. She included me in a place on honor with her Mom!!

Well I suppose you could say her wedding inspired our son who had been engaged since the previous April...and exactly a week later they had a small ceremony on the beach in Norfolk then we all went to lunch to celebrate...

and the biggest news...

THEY ARE EXPECTING A BABY! Yes by November this year we will be grandparents!!

Well I want to try & catch up with a few photos over the next few days of the weddings & whatnot so I will check back in later!

A- My AIR CONDITIONER is set on: 74-I get cold way too easily




B- My BEDROOM theme is: Still trying to figure out how I want to decorate it-although my bro in law is about to install pillars from the sitting area into the main part of the room!!


C- The CAR in the driveway is: There are 4 out there I think-My Infinity, Stephs Lanser, the Jetta & Ricks old truck



D- My DESK looks: its a little organized because I just cleaned Sat



E- The EXACT time I wake up daily is: About 8

Soo many butterflies!!

When I left the house this morning to go workout something in my flower bed caught my eye...there were about 5 large butterflies fluttering all over my butterfly bushes! Now Ive had butterfly bushes in my last garden but I never had so many butterflies be attracted to them! Could it be due to being in the 'woods' here?
